My Honeys

I just returned from spending almost two weeks with my newly engaged daughter. Along with many other topics we talked about the  pet names that couples call each other.  (For the record, they don't call each other pet names or at least not in front of me.)

Dave and I are not an overtly mushy couple, however, we have always called each other "honey".  When our oldest son was a small he called me honey instead of mommy. Sometimes if I didn't respond to his call quickly enough he would say, "Honey, honey, honey.....Sylvia!"
Now I also call all of my kids, honey. I guess it has sort of morphed into a family name. I just love all my honeys.
