The best way to choose an Easter ham is to have a friend who is a retired butcher. I was fortunate that when I went to buy a ham that Phil had been called in to do some Easter rush fill in work. He came out from behind the counter picked the best ham for the best price and then went and sliced it, not too think and not too thick. Thanks Phil.
In other Easter preparations, I vacuumed and cleaned the carpets in a couple of rooms. I bought a carpet cleaner ( the Bissell 9200 2X Upright Deep Cleaner Carpet Extractor, to be precise) a few years ago for about 200$ and it has paid for itself many times over. It almost does as good a job as calling in a service (depending on the service..it is better than some) and it isn't that difficult or near as expensive. I am not writing ad copy, it's just the way it is.
Did some more shopping, some more cleaning, gave unsolicited advice to both of my daughters, most likely irritated both of my daughters. Another day in paradise. Spring break-day two.
Wow you are such a force! I can guarantee that I am not even close to being as productive as you with my time! We are looking forward to this weekend and thank you for all of your hard work! :D
ReplyDeleteGuess we got the same ham then! He did the same for me and I was glad as I had no idea.
